Natural tallow balm with jojoba oil for skin care- scented with theraputic grade lavender essential oil. It comes in a 2 ounce tin. It is has three ingredients-rendered tallow, jojoba oil and essential oils.It is sourced from our own farm raised beef (doupfarms.com). It is rendered three times for purity. This tallow balm is high quality and abundant in natural fatty acids, vitamins A(retinol),D E, K, and powerful antioxidents. Tallow's natural moisture balance helps maintain and restore your skin's hydration. Tallow contains the same types of fats found naturally in the skin's outer layer and has emollient and hydration benefits.
Jojoba oil is added to this blend. It makes the balm softer and easier to apply. Jojoba is also great for your skin. It is known for it's ability to moisturize and fight fine lines. Jojoba oil has antibacterial and antioxident properties. It is loaded with vitamin E, B complex, copper and zinc. Jojoba is an evergreen plant that grows in North America. The oil is made from the nut of this plant. This balm is a ratio of 80% tallow and 20% jojoba oil.
Use it to moisturize your whole body and face. Personally, I like to use it around my fingernails, where I get cracked and split skin and a thin layer as a night cream on my face. It did wonders as a lip balm when I had a cold sore. It is a great foot cream too. Natural tallow balm is beneficial on my grandchildren's ezcema. Try it where you have skin issues! 
How to use- take a small amount and rub it in your hands or finger tips. The warmth of your hands, melts and softens the tallow as you rub it into various areas. It may appear slightly greasy at first, but it quickly absorbs into the skin. 
There are no fillers in our tallow balm- so a little goes a long way.

Storage- rendered tallow is shelf stable, keep tightly closed and away from heat. For long term storage-6 months or more-keep any tins you aren't currently using in the refrigerator. 
Reactions to tallow balm are rare- but if irration should occur, discontinue use. It's always good to try a test patch when using a new skin product. Try a small amount on an inconspicuous area first. Facial skin can be particularly sensitive. Individual skin types respond differently.
